Information about the church

Church Lane, Marton cum Grafton,
North Yorkshire, YO51 9QX

Christ Church was built in 1875 from the stone of its Norman predecessor which was located at the cemetery on the outskirts of the village. It forms part of the Church of England United Benefice of Great and Little Ouseburn, Whixley and Green Hammerton.

A warm welcome awaits new visitors and old friends alike at all our services.

The church has close links to the village school and to an excellent choir (The Collavoce Collection).

Fundraising

We have been fortunate in the past to be remembered in people’s wills. The Church forms part of the fabric of our community and needs support to be available for people at the most important times in their lives. We would be honoured to be remembered in people’s legacies in order to ensure the work of the Church is sustained into the future. Thank you.

You can donate to Christ Church without it costing you a penny.

Please visit https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/ before making any online purchases and select Christ Church, Marton cum Grafton, as your chosen good cause. Many retailers are linked and will give a small percentage to your selected charity. Your spend will be exactly the same, but a few pennies will come to the church to help towards the day to day running costs. Thank you very much.
