The pub is currently on the market and is open only for drinks at this time. We hope that in the future new owners will restore the pub to full operation.
The Punch Bowl Inn is a traditional inn dating back to the 16th century that still retains its old world charm and cosy character.
The Punch Bowl displays a wealth of characterful beams and open fires, and it specialises in bringing its guests high quality food and drink with friendly service in comfortable and relaxed surroundings. It boasts a fabulous bar and tap room with five further areas each with their own fires, creating a pub of great individuality and character.
The classic British menus showcase the best local produce available from carefully selected suppliers, whilst the traditional bar is stocked with local beers, hand pulled ales and a considered wine list.
The bar also accommodates informal dining, with large wooden tables and roaring open fires. The five downstairs areas within the pub provide distinctive rooms each with their own charms.
Located on the first floor, the private dining room and coffee lounge provide two separate, sumptuous spaces: the coffee loft up in amongst the beams of the oldest part of the building with the dining room adjacent, ideal for drinks and lunch or dinner.
These decadent rooms combine rich tartans and luscious velvet to offer the ideal private space for friends and family.
The Punch Bowl is open 7 days a week, for lunch, dinner and drinks.
