The Punch Bowl pub

The wait is nearly over! We are beyond excited to announce that we will be opening our doors to you all soon. We hope you have missed having a welcoming village pub!

Simon Wade, the new owner, is thrilled to meet both new and familiar faces. His team, led by Laura, our new General Manager, and James, her Assistant GM, are very much looking forward to welcoming you.

This week we are busy behind the scenes getting the pub ready for you this weekend, just in time for the bank holiday! We won’t be making a big social media splash or having a grand opening celebration; instead, we want you, the locals—the important people—to come down, enjoy the atmosphere, and let us settle in at our own pace. We appreciate your understanding!

Opening Details:

  • Friday, May 1st: Doors open at 12 noon. The bar will be open all day, with food served from 12pm to 2:15pm and 5pm to 8:30pm
  • Saturday: Bar open from 12pm until close, with food served from 12pm to 8:30pm
  • Sunday: It’s a fun day! The bar will be open from 12pm until close. Our Sunday lunch menu will be available from 12pm to 4:45pm, and a pizza menu from 6pm to 8pm
Plus, we have a fantastic live saxophonist, Leah Waddington, performing from 6pm to 8 pm—bringing easy fun Sunday vibes to our pub!

Everyone is welcome, and families are encouraged to join us!

To help us prepare, we would greatly appreciate it if you could make a reservation for dining this weekend. You can do this by calling us or booking online at:

Once we are more settled, we will keep you updated on exciting plans we have for the pub.

We can’t wait to see you all this weekend! This weekend is for you!
