You may know that the old church (shown in these pictures) stood in the churchyard down Legram lane, and was built in about 1180. It was demolished in 1873 when the present church was built. Only two pictures survive of the old church, and Tony Hunt is lucky enough to hold both as original postcards.

Tony ran the pictures through an AI Image enhancer and the results are what you see here, which gives us a better idea of what the old building looked like.
